opera not-so-seria is an organization dedicated to producing fun, relevant, and accessible operatic performances in New York City.

Our inaugural production, they ALL do that (Così fan tutte) in May 2026, brought audiences of opera lovers and newcomers alike into the world of Mozart and Da Ponte’s timelessly ridiculous work. This bar opera has been called “the most enjoyable and fun Così I have ever seen.”
